noobs llc's safety policies
[last updated: december 15th, 2021]

the health and safety of our friends, guests and staff are very important to us.  in order to ensure that nobody gets hurt in the real world while experiencing a virtual one, all participants are required to comply with a set of health & safety rules while in our facility, using our equipment and/or attending one of our events.

covid-19 (& other exposure risks) disclaimer & safety policies

By attending, or participating in, an event at noobs LLC, you may experience possible exposure to electromagnetic frequency radiation, chemicals known to the State of California to cause cancer and birth defects or other reproductive harm, and illness from infectious diseases including, but not limited to, COVID-19.  Even though there are safety rules and sanitation procedures in place that may help to reduce the risk of exposure, they are not guaranteed to eliminate all exposure risks and the risk of serious illness and death does exist.  All attendees and participants knowingly and freely assume all such risks related to attendance and participation in the activity, including potential of illness and exposure to infectious diseases, such as COVID-19.

California has enacted a face-covering mandated for public spaces, beginning december 15th, 2021 and lasting for a minimum of 1 month.  If there is another party present inside of our facility, please wear a mask while inside.

Due to the nature of our experiences and equipment, many users do not prefer to wear masks while wearing our VR headsets as it can cause their headset to fog considerably.  additionally, when worn together, the combination of face mask and VR headset has been known to cause feelings of claustrophobia in some users.

So we can continue to provide a safe and comfortable experience to our customers [while still complying with state mandates] noobs will be operating by appointment only - and will take 1 private-party at a time.  You will be allowed to choose if you would like to wear a mask during your reservation at noobs as our facility will not be open to the public during this time (this is subject to change as we may have to modify our policies to adhere to changes in local, state and federal mandates)

[sanitation /safety procedures:]

1) all of our virtual reality headsets have been fitted with silicone and/or vinyl contact surfaces which allow us to fully disinfect and sanitize in between users.  single-use disposable VR mask covers are also available by request.

2) we book 1 party at a time for each group session and we keep a buffer time for full equipment/space sanitation in between sessions.

3) we use clorox wipes, which has one of the shortest kill time recorded for covid-19 (as well as some other pathogens!)  see the EPA's website for more information:

4) handwashing stations and hand sanitizer will be available at all times.  please help keep noobs clean by using them before and after playing, eating, or you know... using the potty!

5) all of the noobs 5 years old and up have been vaccinated against covid-19. (it's not required that we are, but we are a family owned and operated place, so we... just are! :-)

6) if you have any concerns or need special accommodations, please let us know at ""
